Apple Watch now syncs directly with training peaks

Training Peaks newest integration with Apple Health has been released. This upgrade will Tristar Athletes to record workouts with their Apple Watch (Workout app) and have them automatically sync with TrainingPeaks for you to view and analyze!

To get set up, here’s how it works:

First, log in to your iPhone TrainingPeaks app. Once there, open Settings and click Connect Health App. Make sure you turn on all categories so every workout type will automatically sync. After your accounts are linked, it will show ‘Connected’ under the Health App. It's that easy!

(If you would like to start recording workouts with your own Apple Watch, make sure to log in into your TrainingPeaks Athlete account before linking with Apple Health.)

Rate of Perceived Effort (RPE) Training Peaks update

Training peaks now allows you to rate a workout based on perceived effort and how you felt during the session.  This subjective rating helps dial in your training and overall fatigue levels.  Beyond the data this weighs in very heavily for us as coaches.   Giving this level of insight to your coaches will help you training load and make sure you are training in the sweet spot!
