Fun facts: One of the nicest guys on our team, Walter has taken on some of the more challenging races in cycling across the country. From Fondo’s to tours, he has improved dramatically in just a few short seasons. Walter came out to our Oceanside race camp in 2019 and wasn’t satisfied with just any long ride, so he blazed his own trail to the top of Palomar Mountain. He wasn’t done there, he helped pull home the entire team on day three from San Diego to Oceanside!
Bio, goals and races, tactics: Walter recently raced the Greenwich road race churning out an eye popping 350 Watts normalized and over 370+ Watts for 30minutes.. lets just say he was “powering the lights” in Southern CT!
Walter’s goals are committed to getting faster, more powerful, and leaner with each season and race. He has a mix of shorter and longer multi stage rides and races to mix it up along the way.
Walter has some of the most impressive power stats we see as coaches in cycling. A whopping 360 Watts FTP (power he can hold for an hour of power!
Raced the Tour De Catskills, read our coaches blog about his day.
Uses a combination of heart rate based training + power to dial in endurance and FTP.
Trains with a Wahoo Kicrk/Zwift setup to maximize his training time.
Committed athlete, family man, and businessman.
ELITE team member.
